Créée en 1983, l’Ecole Supérieure Roi Fahd de Traduction accueille sa première promotion en septembre 1986 .La ville de Tanger, vu son emplacement extrêmement favorable, au carrefour de l’Europe, de l’Afrique et du Monde Arabe, a été le lieu privilégié pour l’édification de l’Ecole. Forte de cet atout, elle s’acquittera parfaitement de sa mission, à savoir la promotion de la communication culturelle et civilisationnelle qui est en rapport étroit avec la traduction.

• Training professional translators to perform effectively their jobs in various sectors, nationally and internationally; • Preparing students to pursue doctoral studies; • Teaching students different translation strategies and techniques; • Strengthening the students’ linguistic and communicative skills; • Enriching the students’ background knowledge in law, economics and other general subjects; • Acquainting students with the use of ICT; • Imparting appropriate translation theoretical knowledge.
